                     This Year’s Record:
Canyon Lake 38 Blanco 00 Burnet 30 Austin Reagan 00

Austin Reagan will be coming into this year’s game with a lot of holes in their armor as these Raiders are returning just 3 starters from last season with 2 on offense and one defensively.

To give another dose of reality, Canyon Lake’s JV and Freshman both won their games last year against Reagan which can give you an indication that this might be a long night for this Austin school.

Last year’s Hawks JV Squad finished off the Raiders convincingly with a 32-6 score.

Now what will Canyon Lake do with those variables in this formula?

That is what continue to be a story for a team that is working on a one word equation, Finish!

        Go Hawks Beat the Raiders.

This will be a week that Canyon Lake needs to finish but also take care of the first part of the game so they will have something too finish.

Last week, the Hawks, took care of Blanco to even their series with 5 wins as this 10th year of games continues their tour.

There will be some athletes for CL to follow so this game can end with a similar feeling as last week.

                     GO HAWKS!!

Offensive Lineman Derrick Sorrells (6’2, 260) will be leading an offensive line that left him as the lone survivor.

Jose Jaimes will be used where needed and Vontrey who was a receiver last year has been moved to the backfield to help shore up and plug all of those holes the Raiders have this year.

This is a 5A school, which will have plenty of players to choose from and Canyon Lake will need to be on top of their game so they can finish in style.

If you cannot make this Thursday match-up then be sure to tune-in to CLB for the pre/game at 6:15pm and game that will be starting 7:30pm.
